What is the difference between tests and assessments? 

Are tests/assessments reliable and valid?

It's important to look at tests/assessments and make sure that accommodations are made for English Language Learners.  The accommodations could include testing in their home language but making sure that they can read, write in their home language so they can comprehend the questions.
