M12: Wrap up and Complete

Now that you have completed all your readings, watched all the videos, and participated in the activities, you are ready to synthesize these pieces to articulate your understanding about teaching in the content areas. You will use the information discussed in this module throughout your career, so it is important for you to think about how it applies to your work. 

As you think reflect on this module, think about all you have learned about first and second language development and its impact on your teaching. Consider the connection between theory and practice and how they influence one another. 

Make sure you have completed the following activities:

• Engaged with each component of the modules.
• There isn't a journal question for the last two chapters.  
• Read pages 69-77 in Crawford & Krashen book.
• Make sure to submit your Common Assessment -Final- by Monday, May 3rd by 11:59 pm.  The Common Assessment is for CI 3332 and CI 4360.  I will be explaining the Common Assessment in class on Wednesday.  
• Submit your Content Area Lesson Plan in both sites in module 11 - Content Area Lesson Plan on Friday, April 23rd by 11:59 pm.
