Instructions
You may use your notes and have the essay open while taking the exam. This exam represents your original work and understanding, there is zero tolerance for plagiarism or cheating. If either of those happen you will fail the exam and may be reported for an Honor Code violation.
You will have 90 minutes to complete the exam. It will time out at 11:00 am, so be sure to save and submit your answers before then. Your score on this exam is worth 5% of your final course grade. Read the questions carefully and use the test-taking strategies we’ve practiced in class.
Before you begin, skim the exam questions quickly to note the following:
- How many essays and how many short answer questions do you see? How many points are they each worth?
- How much time do you have to complete the exam? And how much time should you allot to essays/short answer questions?
- You have studied hard for this exam. Take a deep breath and read carefully. You’ve got this!
