M13: Getting Started

Overview: Module13:  Chapter 11Translanguaging, Effective Instruction, and Advocacy for English Language Learners.

Chapter 13 covers three topics: Translanguaging, effective instruction and advocacy for English Language Learners.  I will go over Translanguaging and effective instruction in class on Wednesday.  But I want you to read carefully about advocacy since many of you mentioned in your journal responses about being an advocate for English Language Learners. 

In the following modules, you will learn more about advocacy and how it impacts ELLs.
