M10: Comprehension Strategies

Comprehension is supreme.  It is what we do all this work for.  We want our students to understand what they read, and we want it to impact them. But the reality is, reading is incredibly complex and requires quite a bit of skills in order to work. Without that comprehension, we risk losing the impactful, life-changing effects we know are possible through reading.

So while we say comprehension is where it's at, we can also say that comprehension isn't something that happens on its own. Multiple pieces have to work together to make the magic happen.
