M10: Strategies for Teaching Reading

Given that we carry the responsibilities for students' reading development, it is imperative that we think about how learners actually experience reading while in the classroom. The follow pages will present some strategies that can be used with all learners, and they are also of particular benefit to ELs, due to their high degree of interaction.

There is an unlimited amount of approaches and ways to implement, since each classroom - and teacher - is unique.
