M7: English-Medium Programs

English-medium classrooms use English as the primary instructional language. So the term "English-medium" is the linguistic identifier one could place on most mainstream classrooms. When talking about programs for ELs, English-medium usually refers to:

  • ESL Pull Out;
  • An ESL Class Period; or
  • A Sheltered Instruction Model.
