M3: Cognates - Related to Semantics

Cognates are related to semantics because they can help all of us make meaning in new languages.

Did you see that?  30-40% of all words in English have a related word in Spanish!  That is a lot of words!  We need to be sure we are using cognates with our Spanish multilingual students -- it has the potential to help them a lot!
