By this point, you hopefully feel like you have a bit of a better understanding about some of the key points about identifying students with an English Learner (EL) designation. 

You can anticipate that the TExES will have questions about the LPAC membership and process, as well as other mandated regulations.

Keep in mind that many of the topics we cover will align with more than one competency. As you study one area of the content, you are generally studying for two or more areas. Focus more on learning the key points, rather than which competency is the "right" one to put the topic in. The main reason I am sharing these connections at the end of each module is so you know that the activities we are doing are intentionally designed to help you be an effective educator while simultaneously preparing you to achieve a passing grade on your certification exam. and to show you where they connect is helpful to know the general areas.
