TS-SM Summer Scholarship Virtual Conference

 

Thank you to everyone that participated in our Summer Scholarship Program Virtual Conference last week.  We had some wonderful presenters that shared some very insightful and useful information with our students and families.  We have some resources we wanted to share with all of our students/families in case you were unable to join us for the conference. 

 

We are happy to share Ja’Net Adam’s (from Debt Sucks University) presentation from our Summer Scholarship Program Virtual Conference with you all.  All of our Talent Search members now have access to our private website with all four Financial Literacy keynote/workshop recordings, worksheets, and quizzes. You will all have access until December 31st, 2021.

You are able to get a certificate of completion once you have watched the webinars and answered all the questions in the quiz.

TS-SM Webinar Series

TS-SM has great college and career preparation workshops planned, and you can have the opportunity to earn prizes! For each webinar, we will have a live zoom meeting the day of and an activity for students to complete if they weren't able to attend the live event.

Your name will be entered into a prize drawing for each webinar you participate in. We will give out a prize two weeks after each webinar, and a grand prize to the student who has participated in the most webinars for the semester! 

Our high school students will receive the Zoom meeting links in an e-mail sent to their SMCISD account. We will be sending out reminders the morning of each of these webinars. Each webinar will be recorded, and the link to the recordings will be posted below.
