Piano Keyboard: Sharps
Thus far you have learned the one-letter name of long keys on the piano keyboard. These are all called natural-note keys. Another name for A is A-natural. Another name for F is F-natural.
A long-key's letter-name is the starting point for naming the adjacent keys. From any long key, the next key to the right (sounding higher)—whether a long key or a short key—is a sharp. The key immediately to the right of C is C-sharp. The key immediately to the right of E is E-sharp.
