    This course continues the study of differential and integral calculus from MATH 2471. The topics include techniques of integration, improper integrals, parametric equations and polar coordinates, applications of calculus, sequences and series, and an introduction to partial derivatives.

    In this course various methods of solving common types of ordinary differential equations are studied. Students learn the conditions under which solutions to first-order and second-order ordinary differential equations exist and are unique.
