Understanding Accessibility Checker Results
The accessibility checker will show you a broad range of results from images missing alt text, page title missing, tags missing, if the primary language is set for the document, and if the document is an image-only PDF. Right clicking on any of these results will offer help information and sometimes a way to fix the issue directly from the checker. The following issues can be fixed directly from the checker. This is not an exhaustive list, but represents items that are commonly found by the accessibility checker.
- Document Tags are missing
- Primary language is missing
- Document title is missing
- Alt text is missing from images
- Headers are not appropriately nested
