Downloading the Software-2

• For Personal Computers
  • Go to the ITAC EndNote page.
  • Under Get Started, select EndNote for Personal Computers.
  • Follow the Installation Instructions and select the software for Windows or Mac.
• For TXST-owned Computers (e.g., office computers, lab computers)
  • Go to the ITAC EndNote page.
  • Under Get Started, select either EndNote for TXST Windows Computers or EndNote for TXST Mac Computers.
  • Follow the instructions to download the software through either the Software Center or JAMF.
• Questions about or technical issues with installing the software should be sent to ITAC through the ITAC contact page.

Because many faculty, staff, and students are in the process of transitioning from RefWorks to EndNote this spring, the University Libraries and ITAC will roll out the new version of the desktop software--plus new training material--in fall 2021. EndNote 20 will have a visual upgrade but its functionality will remain mostly the same as X9, so you can continue to download, use, and learn more about EndNote X9 and EndNote Online until the new version is available to you. Your existing library will transfer over whenever you choose to install the updated software. Contact Ask a Librarian with any questions.
