Adding a Title to your Document

Titles are not the same as your filename, and provide assistive technology with a label for the entire document.  This label is the first data read by a screen reader when the document opens and provides the user context for the entire document.

The best time to add a title to your document is when you first save your work.  To add a title, open the file menu, select info and then type a title into the title field under properties.
